I think the President's speech at the TV Patrol's 25th Anniversay was just right to point out some of their mistakes. As he said, he only had that moment to speak out to all of them. However, I do believe too that it was wrong for him to specifically talk about Noli, even if he didn't mention his name. It was pretty obvious.
On my point of view,
I'm not a fan of our administration now but I couldn't blame the President for pin pointing "Kabayan" for he says too much criticisms against the administration. He talks as if he's done a good job as a Vice President.
But let's just think of brighter side. It could be that controversial, and for some, they find it rude or unprofessional but as I've said, PNoy was able to deliver his concerns and they were pretty true. So the best thing ABS-CBN can do is to take his criticisms as inspiration to broadcast news fairly.
