A celebration of Satchmi’s love for records, music, and the lifestyle they cultivate together with their community of friends and loyal customers. It’s no surprise when we saw people pouring in from all directions to the store. When you step in, it’s as if you’re in another world separated from the mall itself. There was free food courtesy of Mr. Graham’s Sandwich Shop, their highly talked about Cebuano along with chips and dip filled everyone’s appetite throughout the event. In tandem was Mrs. Graham’s macarons straight from her cafe, specially made for the event complete with vinyl record designs and plating. Their Apple Pie Soda was also served during the party as well as Craftpoint’s Summer

It's been a year since the Satchmi Store opened its doors and they’re celebrating it the best way they know how: the ultimate birthday party happening! I’m so excited for September 26, but while we wait, here are a couple of things we hear you can expect at Satchmi’s Birthday Bash:

If you like steak but you're in a tight budget, no need to fret as Mati's Meat and Bread offers the best value for steaks at affordable prices. Opened in October 2014, Mati's Meat and Bread is located at the new extension of Festival Mall which has a stunning view of River Park. The restaurant walls are made of clear glass giving it's diners a view of lush green landscaping.

Well, I'm happy to announce that's there a new restaurant and bar that would allow you to do such: none other than Salliano's Restaurant and Bar ! They will open their home starting Sept 19, 2015 in the Shoe Capital of the Philippines, Marikina City.

I don't know about you but when I look for a place to eat, I would usually walk down the hall where most of the restaurants or fast food chains are to first check if there's an available seat. If there's a seat for me to dine in, I would then look at the menu to know if there's something I would want to order. Usually, that's just the two things I look at. However, it's quite different for Bigg's Diner in SM Lipa.

It was my first time to attend a Cinemalaya Festival and it was also my first time to be at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. I really have no idea how it looks like inside and I didn't know what to expect to watch there. I was just really excited for the entire experience.

A month ago (August 12, 2015), the 65th branch of Krispy Kreme finally opened in SM Lipa. Krispy Kreme has been the leading doughnut Batangueños look for. Most of them would ask their family or friends who works in Metro Manila to bring a dozen when they go back to the province. I even know some who goes to Alabang just to purchase a couple of boxes to satisfy their craving. A friend of mine, who is an employee of KK, told me that they give out rewards to the first 100 customers to fall in line. You can know more about the rewards here . I wasn't able to attend Krispy Kreme's opening in SM Dasmariñas before so I have no idea how it goes. I was very surprised how organized they were towards their customers in line.

I didn't know the that City of Dasmariñas celebrates Virgin Mary's birthday the way they did last September 8, 2015. I only found out about this prusisyon (procession) when I got off the van from Alabang. This kind of processions aren't new to me as I've seen a couple in my dad's province but I've never seen a procession only composing different kinds of Virgin Mary's statues. When I asked someone about it, she said that it's a yearly vow of the residents of Dasmariñas to bring their Mama Mary's statues to the church on her birthday, have it blessed and parade it for other residents to see. And I'm showing you a few of them:

Yesterday, a package from Sampleroom arrived in our home. However, I was away for a  press con and only found out about the package earlier this morning. Even without opening the courier's pouch, I can already smell the scent of a soap and hair care product!  Can you guess what's inside my #SampleRoomPH package?

I thought I would be late for the event due to the stressful traffic here and there but it turned out, I made it just at the right time.

I was one of the lucky bloggers who were invited for lunch at Mati's Meat & Bread last Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Mati's is a subsidiary of Melo's Steakhouse  which is known for their Certified Angus Beef. Mati's by the way will be turning a year older soon! Mati's Meat and Bread caters to the yuppies and families that love steaks and other mouthwatering dishes. They have mastered turning a typical dish to something more delicious and special.

For someone like me who grew up abroad, studying Philippine History has been my fascination. It makes us understand that whatever happened in the past explains why our government or country is like this now. It teaches us to do the right decisions in the present and future time. Let me ask you, what do you know about Heneral Luna? With all honesty, I have no idea of who he is aside from being a General. I think I know more about Juan Luna, his brother, than him. Basically , that's the reason why I wanted to watch this movie; to know more about him and his leadership.

But did you know there's a new lifestyle fair in Manila that not only showcases great brands that speaks of creativity and passion, but also provides good entertainment and yummy food! This fair makes shopping experience more fun for both family and friends in a very cozy ambiance! I'm talking about Spectrum Fair Manila  which was organized by a beautiful mother-daughter team, Mrs. Pia & Ms. Alyssa Arellano.
