BW Photo Challenge: Day 1

I accepted the BW (Black&White) Photo Challenge tagged by my friend, Jomar Tito. In this photo challenge, those who were nominated has the choice to accept or to not accept the challenge. If the person accepts the challenge, he or she will have to post a black & white photo for 5 days and tag/nominate another person (different person everyday).
Since I do not have time to take new photos, I decided to check my external drive for my B&W photos. I choose this for the first day.
This was taken from my dad's province, Batangas. Batangas is known for beaches. Whenever we are in his province, we always goes to the beach. Most of the beach resorts there are not as good looking as the ones in Boracay. Their set ups are very provincial so you really have that rural feel.
I was walking along the beach when I saw this mini shop of Halo-Halo. Halo-halo in the Philippines is a Filipino treat which contains shaved ice, evaporated milk and various ingredients like gulaman, jackfruit, nata de coco, etc. The mini shop was closed when I took this picture.
This picture just shows what kind of living some Filipinos have. This reflects the kind of lifestyle the rural community such as Batangas has. Simple and sustainable.

Since it's hard to tag here, I would just nominate whoever reads this.
You can choose to join or not. But I'd love it if you do.
Leave your post below if you joined so I can view your photos.
Enjoy!

Simply pretty

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my outfit last Friday. I wore this top I bought from a thrift store in Papua New Guinea. It was the Jajay's top from this post  while pairing it with my LeDonne pastel pink flats, my BNY jeans and my Sophie Martin bag. To finish up the girly look, I wore my i2i shades. I felt pretty that day. Simple but pretty. :p
