#PaanoBaTo Book Signing at Trinoma

I ended my November wonderfully because I was invited to attend Bianca Gonzalez's book launch at Trinoma! It was such an honor to meet her.

To give you a background, Bianca Gonzalez (now Bianca Gonzalez-Intal) is the Editor-at-large  of Meg Magazine, she's also a morning show host, a lifestyle columnist of The Philippine Star (newspaper), an endorser and a lot more! Then now, she's an author! What a superwoman!

November 29 this year (2014), she launched her Paano Ba To?! How to Survive Growing Up book at the National Bookstore Glorietta 1. The following day, she had a book signing in the National Bookstore Trinoma where I was invited. She said that this book was a dream come true. You can see it from her eyes and gestures how excited and proud she is about this book.

Since I still came from Cavite, I arrived at lunch time and I was glad that the registration booth was open already. I bought a book and went for lunch at Mary Grace. It was my first time to eat there. I made a separate post here.

As I was taking my lunch, I started to read her book. It was an easy read because it is in Tag-lish (Tagalog-English). It was as if she's just taking to you in person.

The early birds
I went back quickly after my lunch and saw that there were already a lot of people waiting. After a couple of minutes of waiting, Bianca arrived. She was very simple and friendly. Even though we know she's still tired from her book launch and signing the day before, we never felt that from her because she was always smiling and very approachable.

Before the signing, she picked 5 winners for her giveaways. I was called for the make-up prize. Lucky was the girl who was called for the Techno Marine watch!

After the giveaway, the book signing started. I was second in line. I was speechless when I stood in front of her. She's simply beautiful!

Lucky we were invited and that I arrived early because the line and crowd was crazy! Everyone was really grabbing the chance to meet and greet B! It was such a successful book launch and signing!

Congratulations to One Mega Group Inc. and everyone who is behind the success of this book especially to Bianca Gonzalez! *insert long applause here*

I was lucky to have a complimentary book. Because I was able to buy one already, I will have this book as a giveaway. More about it soon!

I stayed for quite some time and chatted with other invited bloggers - Mish and Justin. But I had to leave early because I still needed to travel from Trinoma back to Cavite.

When I was in the MRT and bus, I was already reading her book. By the time I got home, I already finished it! Well, that's how good books get their readers hooked!

I will make a blog about it soon but if you want to read it yourself, you can already purchase a copy in the following locations below. The book retails at Php 245.

Simply pretty

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my outfit last Friday. I wore this top I bought from a thrift store in Papua New Guinea. It was the Jajay's top from this post  while pairing it with my LeDonne pastel pink flats, my BNY jeans and my Sophie Martin bag. To finish up the girly look, I wore my i2i shades. I felt pretty that day. Simple but pretty. :p
