Cutesy & Instagram Worthy Cafe in GenTri

One of the perks of having a car is getting to drive pass and discover newly opened restaurants and/or new attractions to visit next time. And that's exactly how we discovered this recently opened picture perfect cafe / refreshment shop in General Trias. Because it is located along the main road and because of its attracting interiors, there's a greater chance you will not miss this place.

Eats a Treat!: 7 Dwarves Refreshment Shoppe is located at Barangay Santiago, General Trias Cavite. It's just opposite newly opened The Palmridge School in General Trias. If you will be coming from Tejero, it's a few meters after Brgy. Santiago's Public School, located on the right side of the road. The store is open from 9am to 6pm daily.

This café is small but cute. As you can see from the photo above, they have a limited parking space. The place isn’t big but has a decent space for at least seven (7) tables. The place is air-conditioned and the interiors, in my opinion, are very Instagram worthy.

The colorful furniture and decorations bring that vibrant, lovely mood. Their choice of music too is consistent with the store ambiance. They don’t have wifi yet and only accept cash payments for now.

Since they just opened last month, they have few items on their menu. These are light meals they have on their menu: Longganisa Sandwich (Php85) || Roast Beef Sandwich (Php110) || Mini Burger Sandwich (Php85) || Puto’t Dinuguan (Php70) || Spaghetti Bolognese (Php85) || Carbonara (Php85) || Chicken and Ham Crepe (Php90) || Ham and Cheese Crepe (Php75) || Halo-halo (Php85) || Mais con Yelo (Php60) || Sago’t Gulaman (Php60).

As for their beverages, aside from the soda and other bottled drinks, they also have hot / cold coffee and of course, frappe. Below are their respective prices:

HOT (Php70 each): Café Latte, Cappuccino, Mocha and Café Americano.

COLD (Php85 each): Ice Latte, Ice Coffee and Ice Caramel.

FRAPPE (Php110 each): Mocha Frappe, Java Chip and Caramel Frappe.

I tried their carbonara while my dad tried their puto’t dinuguan. I was surprised how fast our orders were served. It took them just less than 15 minutes to serve. Pretty impressive service.

Due to the affordable prices of their food, we did not expect much. The food wasn’t that bad but it doesn’t have that “wow” factor too. The food tasted average, something acceptable and enough to satisfy one’s hunger.

I got to try their mocha frappe too. It tasted more like a chocolate milkshake than a mocha, probably because of the chocolate ice cream they included with the drink. But I love it anyway. However, for other customers, they might expect a more mocha flavored frappe and might get disappointed to get this. To avoid future disappointments for this specific drink, they should either change the name to chocolate or have remove the chocolate ice cream that's overpowering the mocha flavor.

Overall, I quite enjoyed my stay at Eats a Treat! ❤ The meals and drinks are affordable, the ambiance is so pretty and it's just a ride away from home! I'm sure as the months go by, they will improve the tastes of their food, the kind of taste customers will keep coming back for and I'm hoping by that time, they have also added other meal options on their menu.

what food from their menu would you want to try?

Simply pretty

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my outfit last Friday. I wore this top I bought from a thrift store in Papua New Guinea. It was the Jajay's top from this post  while pairing it with my LeDonne pastel pink flats, my BNY jeans and my Sophie Martin bag. To finish up the girly look, I wore my i2i shades. I felt pretty that day. Simple but pretty. :p
