Bag of Beans, Tagaytay

Being a frequent traveler from Cavite to Batangas through the Tagaytay Road, I can't help but notice this what seemed to be a small bakery. Because either the car park was full or a lot of vehicles going in and out of the parking lot. I've always wondered what was so special about this bakery/coffee shop.

Who could have thought that beyond this is a spacious, cozy, native restaurant? There were a lot of tables and chairs at the back where I think the buffet is located which was closed when we went there.

We entered the back entrance where we have parked our car. There's a lot of parking space at the back so it's convenient for their customers with vehicles.

Ambiance

As mentioned earlier, the ambiance of this restaurant is very cozy. We went there for a dinner on a Tuesday and there weren't a lot of customers. The place was quiet and relaxing. If it's always like this, this place is great for catching up with closest friends or a loved one.

The entire restaurant is picture-worthy! These were just some part of the restaurant. There were more space (tables and chairs) that I didn't get to take a photo of.

It is usually cold in Tagaytay that's why they only have a few areas that are air-conditioned. But due to this hot weather, they have prepared electric fans for customers.

Their restroom looks like a mini home! No kidding! It's also spacious, clean and with big mirrors. The mood of the restrooms are consistent with the interiors outside. I'm really loving this place!

Food
Fillet Mignon served with veggies and mashed potato

Seafood Marinara served with garlic bread

Baby Back Ribs served with steamed veggies and a choice of plain or garlic rice
They have a variety of meals to choose from. My dad ordered a Fillet Mignon (₱550/$12) while my mom chose the Seafood Marinara Pasta . I ordered a Baby Back Ribs (₱450/$10).
(Excuse the grainy photos as I was just using my phone camera)

According to my dad, the fillet mignon was cooked perfectly and my mom enjoyed her pasta though she found the seafood a little too overcooked. I was very satisfied with my order. I'll let my plate speak. Hehe!

By the way, we chose Iced Tea as our drinks. It was a too sweet for us so we asked for water to balance it out.

Customer Service
When we went there, we only saw a few staff assisting the customers. This is probably because there weren't a lot of customers that night. Nevertheless, they were very accommodating to their customers and they have a fast service.
Price
To some, it maybe too expensive but because Bag of Beans is a fine dine-in restaurant, it justifies its prices. The excellent customer service + delicious food + great ambiance + wonderful experience is worth paying for, isn't it?
Overall Experience

We had a relaxed and delightful experience in Bag of Beans, Tagaytay. We rarely go for fine dine-ins so this is an experience to keep and remember. Definitely, we will be back. Planning to try their breakfast meals soon!

Simply pretty

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my outfit last Friday. I wore this top I bought from a thrift store in Papua New Guinea. It was the Jajay's top from this post  while pairing it with my LeDonne pastel pink flats, my BNY jeans and my Sophie Martin bag. To finish up the girly look, I wore my i2i shades. I felt pretty that day. Simple but pretty. :p
