Bench's Isla Paloma by Monica Urquijo

Summer is about to end and everyone will for sure miss the heat when the rainy seasons kick in. But thanks to Bench's new scent, Isla Paloma, I can continue to feel the summer vibes when I use it.

This scent was created by Monica Urquijo, daughter of Bea Zobel Jr. and the late Spaniard Juan Urquijo. Monica is a 19-year-old media and communications student at the University of London’s Goldsmiths and now the new face of Bench's scent.

We (my mom & I) were just passing by a Bench's branch when I first saw this collateral. It definitely caught my attention because of the tropical feel of the poster which is my kind of style.

"Isla Paloma is a gentle and refreshing scent perfect for warm sunny days. It opens with a cool summer breeze of Tuscan lemon, Calabrian bergamot with mint and cassis nuances followed by the distinct Mediterranean bouquet of muguet, neroli, rose and hyacinth in the heart. This fresh fragrance dries down in harmony with warm and comforting notes of amber, cedar wood and musk.
With a convenient size at 54ml that reasonably retails at Php 159.00, this body spray is the ultimate accessory for anyone on the go." - Manila Standard Today

Did you ever have that feeling when you smell a scent and you automatically feel connected or feel as if it's the scent that explains who you are? I got that from this perfume. That's why I hope they would keep this scent even after summer because I'm planning to switch my former scent to this one.

Simply pretty

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my outfit last Friday. I wore this top I bought from a thrift store in Papua New Guinea. It was the Jajay's top from this post  while pairing it with my LeDonne pastel pink flats, my BNY jeans and my Sophie Martin bag. To finish up the girly look, I wore my i2i shades. I felt pretty that day. Simple but pretty. :p
