Jergens Ultra Healing Lotion Review

Finding the right lotion for you can be both stressful and costly. I have tried different lotion brands before but I can't seem to be satisfied with any of them. They usually turn out too sticky or greasy after application and I don't see any changes from my skin after weeks of application.

I heard about Jergens before but didn't get to try them asap because I was using another brand; I thought they would make a difference. After months of trying, still no difference so I had to search for another lotion. Then I came across this Jergens Ultra Healing lotion during our Sunday grocery (months ago) at a local supermarket and grabbed the chance to finally try it.

I stopped using lotion for months just so I can prepare my skin for this lotion. That's what I usually do when I change brands just so my skin could rest and prepare itself for the next.

Product Review

It claims to make a beautiful difference for our skin - a difference we can actually see, feel and experience - by penetrating through the 5 layers of the skin's surface to repair and deeply nourish extra dry skin.

The smell is mild which is a plus for me as I do not want my lotions to have a strong scent. The lotion comes out tight from the bottle but the texture is very smooth and soft. It's very easy to distribute to the skin.

At the beginning, it seems sticky but when you apply it throughout the skin, it's easily absorbed. I have tried applying this to my legs and thighs weeks ago when the temperature at noon was really hot. I traveled to the mall wearing shorts and surprisingly, despite of the heat, my legs didn't get sweaty unlike other lotion brands.

I have been using this for weeks now and I'm very satisfied with it. I did feel and see the difference on my skin - lesser dry skin and softer skin. I will continue to use this product as it gave me more visible results in such a short period of time compared to the other products I've used before. Their claims proves to be true!

I know we have different skin types and what works for me might not work for you but if you have a dry skin, I highly recommend that you try this out. Buy a smaller bottle and see first if it will fit your skin. Let me know the result.

Simply pretty

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my outfit last Friday. I wore this top I bought from a thrift store in Papua New Guinea. It was the Jajay's top from this post  while pairing it with my LeDonne pastel pink flats, my BNY jeans and my Sophie Martin bag. To finish up the girly look, I wore my i2i shades. I felt pretty that day. Simple but pretty. :p
