Krispy Kreme Opens Their 65th Store in SM Lipa

A month ago (August 12, 2015), the 65th branch of Krispy Kreme finally opened in SM Lipa. Krispy Kreme has been the leading doughnut BatangueƱos look for. Most of them would ask their family or friends who works in Metro Manila to bring a dozen when they go back to the province. I even know some who goes to Alabang just to purchase a couple of boxes to satisfy their craving.

A friend of mine, who is an employee of KK, told me that they give out rewards to the first 100 customers to fall in line. You can know more about the rewards here. I wasn't able to attend Krispy Kreme's opening in SM DasmariƱas before so I have no idea how it goes. I was very surprised how organized they were towards their customers in line.

This kind of marketing strategy during store openings has been done by other brands but based from the store opening (of another brand) I have experience and based from the ones I saw over the internet, they don't normally offer a comfortable seating arrangement for their first 100. Usually, you'll see them just lined-up, standing across the hall. That's why I was surprised and glad to have seen these people seated comfortably while the ribbon cutting program was happening.

These are the lucky guys who will be receiving 1-year supply, 6-months supply and 3-month supply of doughnuts and coffee. They are Gerald de Guzman (from San Pascual, arrived 5:30PM), Jay-Ar Fortus (from Rosario, arrived 6PM) and Ian Angelo Subol (from Mataas na Kahoy, arrived 7PM) respectively. They all arrived a day earlier the store opening; so yes, they spent the night at SM Lipa and waited for the opening. Crazy right?

Before they began the ribbon cutting, a short speech was given by Ms. Sharon Fuentebella, the CEO of Krispy Kreme Philippines, and Vice-Governor Mark Leviste of the Province of Batangas. After a while, they initiated the ribbon cutting. But because there were so many media upfront, this is the only view I had of the ribbon cutting. Haha!

The store is enough to hold about 20+ people inside however, they only have about 3-4 seats available for diners. It's smaller compared to other stores like SM Dasma but it still has decent space for customers.

Head over to their SM Lipa branch and get yourself and your family or friends a #JOYinABox! Follow their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/krispykremeph) for more updates!

Simply pretty

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my outfit last Friday. I wore this top I bought from a thrift store in Papua New Guinea. It was the Jajay's top from this post  while pairing it with my LeDonne pastel pink flats, my BNY jeans and my Sophie Martin bag. To finish up the girly look, I wore my i2i shades. I felt pretty that day. Simple but pretty. :p
