Sunnies Studios in SM Dasmariñas

The famous Sunnies Studios is opened a branch in SM Dasmariñas on July 11, 2015. Just like the other branches, they gave away 100 Free Sunnies for the first 100 persons in line.

About Sunnies

Sunnies by Charlie or Sunnies Studios have been known as the stylish and affordable sunglasses for both sexes. They have that vintage and coastal feel in their designs which they always update to keep their customers interested even during the rainy seasons.

Sunnies is owned by four (4) wonderful individuals namely: Eric Dee Jr. (finance director), Bea Soriano (operations director), Martine Cajucom (creative director) and Georgina Wilson (marketing director).

SM Dasmariñas Branch Opening

When I got to SM Dasma at 9:30am, the line was already long. I was already the 87th person and just before the doors opened, the 100 persons were completed. As I've stated above, every time they open a branch, they giveaway 100 Sunnies to the first 100 persons in line. I'm glad to have made it.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the name of the shades I got. The name doesn't appear in the sun glass' frame either. Just to describe it, it's a round off-white frame with gold-ish temple and bridge. The lens is black and has UV 400 protection. Most of their glasses has that amount of UV protection which makes them the ideal sunnies to have during summer.

By the way, contrary to what others expected... the 100 Sunnies Giveaway doesn't allow you to choose from their display. The giveaway will be randomly given to the people in line. I was lucky I got a very nice piece. Some wasn't as happy as I was because of the following reasons:
  1. The sunnies they got was not for their gender. Most male got a feminine styled sunglass.
  2. The sunnies they got do not compliment their face shape.
  3. It was not what they wanted or expected.
It may seem like a disappointment but I don't think it was (at least from some) because everyone began speaking to each other and exchange the frames among themselves since they cannot exchange it with the Sunnies Studios staff. Some went home happy as they were, at least, able to get a better piece from the exchange. It was quite fun watching everyone looking at each other's freebie and deciding whether to swap or keep it.

Their new store is located at the first floor of SM Dasmariñas, across Shakey's and an upcoming foreign brand, H&M. Since they have just opened, they do not accept credit card payments yet.

Upon looking around their stall/booth, I was already able to find the new styles they have posted in their Facebook page. They do not have that much variety for spectacles though.

Do not forget to check out their branch when you visit SM Dasma! You can know more about them or their products here:

Simply pretty

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my outfit last Friday. I wore this top I bought from a thrift store in Papua New Guinea. It was the Jajay's top from this post  while pairing it with my LeDonne pastel pink flats, my BNY jeans and my Sophie Martin bag. To finish up the girly look, I wore my i2i shades. I felt pretty that day. Simple but pretty. :p
