Revlon's Colorburst Lacquer Balm

My mom and I are not into make up but are so into lipsticks. We usually just do face powder, lipstick and sometimes, eyeshadows. We're not the kikay kind.

One day, my mom asked me to look for a crayon lipstick and it was quite hard to find one in my area. It was honestly my first time to hear about the crayon lipstick though I have seen it in some online posts. I just didn't know it was called as such. I was able to find one from Revlon however, it was not a lipstick, but a colored lip balm instead.

the Packaging

The packaging was simple and elegant. The color of the lippie did match the color of the packaging outside. Loved how the lid was tight so it won't open while its in your bag. It's about 4 1/2 inches long which for me is a nice length as one can really get a good grip of it while applying.

the Review

Since this is a lip balm, you cannot expect it to last long. But for a lip balm, the color on the lips is pretty impressive; it did seem like a lipstick. The brown color had some glitters on it making it shiny or glossy when applied.

I don't know for other users but I really loved the minty smell. It makes me enjoy re-application which you may need to do if you casually speak and drink.

I cannot remember the exact cost but I know the price is between Php500-600. For a lip balm, I know it may be a little too pricey for some. But for those who has extra money and is looking for a casual lipstick or balm, this would be a nice choice.

Simply pretty

Honestly, I don't know how to describe my outfit last Friday. I wore this top I bought from a thrift store in Papua New Guinea. It was the Jajay's top from this post  while pairing it with my LeDonne pastel pink flats, my BNY jeans and my Sophie Martin bag. To finish up the girly look, I wore my i2i shades. I felt pretty that day. Simple but pretty. :p
